Greetings again everyone!

Right now I'm sitting in a computer lab in Guantanamo Bay about a mile away from about 500 people who would like to take my life. The news doesn't portray things down here like they truly are. Not to say things are horrible down here (in fact, the work is incredibly easy), but the people back in the states really have no idea what goes on down here. I obviously can't go into detail about it. Just know that you can't always believe what you read.

Just recently my mom told me that the news was saying that Cuba was being flooded due to Tropical Storm Lili, but it never really even rained too much on us.

Anyway, the great news is that I'm going to be home in the states (God-willing) sometime next month. I've been here since June 1st, so it really hasn't been a long deployment, but it really isn't a vacation, either. I'm very anxious to get back home.

Again, as usual, if you would like to get ahold of me, feel free to email me. I'm able to get online pretty much everyday, which is a great blessing! Phone calls home are quite expensive, but they're worth it.

Hope to hear from you soon.
