We Want To Feature Your Work

Our Hutch is a project for the community by the community. It only works when people like you contribute their work, ideas, comments, suggestions and constructive criticisms. You can participate in a growing, changing, almost living environment. Your contributions will make a difference.

We currently need contributors in the following areas:

Writing

Poetry and/or short stories, essays, etc. We have several places where we can use this material. We are especially looking for teens to write for the TeenScene section of the site -- some topics include: dating, homework, music, fashion, poetry sports and fast food reviews.
If you have a collection of work, poetry, essays, short stories, etc., that you would like to share, we will create a showcase web site just for you.
Political commentary, community news and reporting, school news, sports news and other information around and about the community.
Topical subjects, tips, ideas, experiences, and your adventures for our new "Facts of Life For Every Day Living" section.
Longer stories and even a novel -- a work in progress, perhaps. Share your talent with others. Get published on line.
Professionals, we'll provide column space for you to write regular pieces on topics relating to your profession. You can also write one-time guest pieces if you would prefer. Your work will be featured for a period of itme and then archived, but remain accessable.

Art

Drawings, paintings, sculpture, photography -- whatever the medium, your work can be featured here.
Participate in building this site. Cartoonists, graphic artists, doodlers: your work can help form the building blocks of this community web site. See our new Just Off Mainstreet arts section.

You can contribute no matter what your age. We'll post kids coloring projects. Students can write content for Tweens and Teens sections and more. Share your experiences, share your work, share your good times.

We're looking for restaurant and business reviews, recipes, business ideas, home improvement tips, car care and gardening suggestions, travel tips, and content of all sorts that will be of interest to others in the community.
